About Airjohn

Born in Nieuw Lekkerland and raised and living in Rotterdam. Received his grammar school diploma and college degree.

This is how he describes his passion for electronic music:

"I've always liked electronic music. It really got my attention when I was able to use only a computer to create tracks. Since then I've gone to college, got my degree and started working, but I never really stopped creating tracks. My work enabled me to continue my hobby.

What I like especially is the combination of different sounds and styles. Just experimenting and seeing where my melodies take me. I can't really say that I love one particular kind of genre in, let's say trance. There's so many and I try to create my own thing by blending styles together. The experimenting part is the most fun because then you can try to hear if different combinations can or can't work. Life is a challenge, creating music is a challenge also."
